[Job] BHF vacancy, Policy Manager (1yr, mat’y leave), ??38k, closing 27 April

I’m not wholly convinced that this is a job about communicating science per se, however it does involve engaging with different groups – it also involves a bit of campaigning and media work. I shall leave it up to you of course, but I didn’t want to mis-sell it as a ‘classic’ #scicomm job 🙂

Having said that BHF is precisely the sort of place that does make these jobs available periodically, so worth keeping an eye on. Search at http://scicommjobs.posterous.com (the main website, not an individual posted page) for BHF or British Heart Foundation for any more jobs from there that have been posted. In an ideal world it would be possible to search organisations’ own websites for ‘all jobs posted by us in the last X years’ – which I think would be quite an interesting archive.
