Project Editor (maternity cover 1 year) Are you an editorial all-rounder, with impressive project management skills as well as an eye for compelling copy? Are you confident working in web and print? If so then we’d like to hear from you. The Wellcome Trust is a global charity dedicated achieving extraordinary improvements in human and animal health. We support the brightest minds in biomedical research and the medical humanities. We need a project editor to manage web and print projects, from conception to final delivery and evaluation, contributing editorially where appropriate. You would work on our education resource Big Picture (www.wellcome.ac.uk/bigpicture), as well as the Wellcome Image Awards website (www.wellcomeimageawards.org) – a collection of beautiful biomedical images. As project editor you will also have a role to play in the editorial development of our intranet and internal staff magazine. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of project managing print and web projects. We would expect you to have strong communication and interpersonal skills – combined with infectious enthusiasm – to inspire a project team and drive the process forward.
