|Not to be confused with a job from the Meningitis Research Foundation I’ve just posted – they’re based in Bristol as well.
This is not an overtly science communication job but pretty much any time a medical research charity communicates a fundraising message or engages with its supporters there’s a scientific / medical element so I wouldn’t discount it, particularly as there are web-based writing opportunities too. Some good transferable skills to ‘collect’, or add to, from a first or second job (one year’s relevant experience requested I think).
Marketing & Communications Officer
http://www.meningitisuk.org/about-us/who-we-are/work-for-us.htm We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced communications professional with a “can-do” attitude and lots of initiative to promote Meningitis UK.
