[Job, Chesterfield (2)] Arthritis Research UK [CLOSED], Education Projects Administrator, ??18k, closed 25 June

This one closed last Friday… it’s a junior-ish admin post and not a science communication job but I’ve included it because (a) I said I would in my last post, (b) all of these office admin and event-running skills are useful to anyone in science communication and (c) I think the applicant would have been working within a science communication type of team so it would have been quite a decent learning opportunity. This is based on a quick peek at the two PDFs, I wouldn’t take my word for it 😉

Interestingly the ‘target’ of the communication for this job and the one I’ve just posted is healthcare professionals, an important group given that they are often the gatekeepers of information for those with a condition. In other words, if you want to reach people with arthritis, liaise with their healthcare team.
