tce, the monthly magazine published by the Institution of Chemical Engineers for its 30,000 members worldwide, is looking for an enthusiastic journalist to join its editorial team.

This full-time position suits a graduate with an interest in science, engineering and journalism. It is also perfect for a more experienced journalist wanting to move into science writing. A demonstrable love for science and engineering is a must, a relevant degree or experience would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant and fun-loving team and produce features and news stories covering the full range of process industries, from food to energy and from pharmaceuticals to materials. For this, you will need to have a nose for a story, be happy to make contacts at companies  and universities around the world, enjoy asking questions, and write in clear, correct English.

Flexible working time (35h/week) plus excellent benefits.
