(London) careers event for information professionals, w visits to BMA or British Library or Wellcome Trust library #scicomm-ish

This was posted to what might seem a rather specific mailing list – for those who wish to find jobshares in information management (librarians and information professionals). Since I am more or less a librarian (I don’t have a qualification, I just wing it) I signed up to see what sort of things get talked about. It’s a pretty quiet list (this is only the second posting this year!) but it’s called ‘jobshare’ and is hosted, like many great mailing lists, at JISCmail. More info at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=JOBSHARE

Since there’s an overlap between librarian / information professionals and some types of science communication (it’s not just me in the intersection!) then this might be of use to others. The event includes a visit to one of two overtly science / medical libraries (BMA or Wellcome) and the British Library covers pretty much everything.

Posted on behalf of CLSIG (Commercial, Legal and Scientific Information Group) – please pass on to any new or intending infopros.
