Ready for a change and a new challenge?

Would you like to make a difference to patients and their carers in getting information to them on the different types of blood cancers and treatments available?

You should have strong interpersonal skills, be interested in the development and delivery of health information, be able to communicate with people at all levels, be exceptionally well organised with outstanding administrative skills and have a good eye for detail. Our Patient Information & Support Manager is looking for someone to help to ensure that Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is able to offer the right information at the right time to people affected by blood cancer ??? and in a format that they want.

You will work closely with the Patient Information & Support Manager to identify opportunities to increase the reach of our information products: liaising with hospitals and specialist cancer units to get the information to them, processing requests for publications, looking after our stands at conferences and meetings and working with the digital team to maximise the reach and impact of our online patient information

If you are a team player, communicate well, are able to work under pressure and consider no job too big or too small, then we would like to hear from you!

You must also be a committed non-smoker.

Closing date: Tuesday 30 November 2010
Interviews: Wednesday 8 December 2010

Please apply with a cover letter that explains how you meet the Person Specification requirements and your interest in this position, and an appropriate CV to:
