The position RNID???s Campaigns and PR Team is looking for a motivated and skilled PR professional to maximise positive impact activity for all of the charity???s work. The role will focus on biomedical research, health and social policy, key campaigns, care services and government relations. The successful candidate will help RNID maintain its position as the leading charity working with hearing loss and hearing health by implementing strategic media campaigns across all types of traditional, online and social media.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience The role requires excellent writing skills with a flair for creative media campaigning, and you will have a good understanding of how to maximise opportunities in the changing media landscape. You will also be a skilled verbal communicator, able to sell in stories and react to journalists??? enquiries with confidence. You will be a strong team worker, with the ability to motivate others, and you will have sound judgement skills. This role requires a positive approach to building contacts and learning about this diverse organisation. Knowledge of new PR techniques and media platforms would be an advantage, as would PR in a campaigning environment. Some knowledge or experience in one or more of the areas of work would also be an advantage.
