We`re looking for an Editorial Administrator to join the British Journal of Cancer.

About the role
As the Editorial Administrator for the British Journal of Cancer you will assist the Editorial Support Manager in providing efficient administrative and database support. You`ll be responsible for receiving, checking and recording a large volume of submissions to the prestigious, peer-reviewed journal according to the established procedures or as agreed by the Editor-in- Chief of BJC. You`ll also provide a good professional service within the Editorial Team, the Cancer Institute and with external stakeholders as well as contribute effectively to the running of a small independent office.

About you
To join us you will need a good level of administrative experience as well as strong organisational skills. You`ll need good communication skills and be familiar with relevant scientific and medical vocabulary. Experience of working in an academic or research environment and with large web-based databases is desirable.
