This is a 9 month maternity cover role. This is a great opportunity to join our PR team, where you will write PR plans and write press releases and other media materials to publicise the charity`s campaigns and initiatives.

About the Job
This is a fantastic role for a Senior PR Officer where you will get to plan and execute PR campaigns to support the charity`s income generation activities.
You will work Draft PR plans and write press releases and other media materials to publicise our charity campaigns and initiatives, as well as project manage key campaigns and events.
You`ll regularly receive and respond to media enquiries and advise media spokespeople on PR opportunities.
You`ll have the excitement of devising feature and story ideas and sell-in to national media outlets as well as building relationships with journalists.
Your work will also involve liaison with our celebrity and patient liaison teams to source supporters and case studies for campaigns.
As Senior PR Officer you will come with evidence of a proven track record in consumer PR and excellent knowledge of the media industry, you will use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to plan and execute PR campaigns to support the charity`s income generation activities.
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines you will also be good at project management.
