Join our award-wining PR team and, from planning out entire media campaigns to briefing spokespeople, preparing news releases and pushing social media, you???ll play a vital role in promoting our activities to help us improve cancer care.

An experienced press officer who has built highly successful relationships with a wide range of journalists and worked through a variety of media outlets, you are ready for the next step in your career. In this role, substantial strategic involvement will put you in the driving seat to deliver impactful communications strategy which puts innovation and creativity at the heart of your campaigns. That means we can rely on you to seek out and exploit every available PR opportunity to communicate key messages and promote the ground-breaking work we do. You will also manage our Assistant Press Officer.

You will be joining us as we celebrate our centenary year, are growing and introducing challenging new campaigning objectives. So we can offer you plenty of scope for learning and development. In return, you can offer a proven track record in devising, implementing and leading your own media and PR campaigns, stories and initiatives.

You???ve delivered these through the spectrum of available channels, demonstrating a firm grasp of the application of a wide range of media relations tools and developed knowledge of media outlets and research and PR techniques. Your ability to get the most out of social media, sharing that knowledge with others, is a particular strength and you can also demonstrate that you are self-sourcing with a strong solutions-focus.
