 The Role
Nursing Standard is the RCN Publishing Company???s weekly flagship journal and market leader, read by nurses throughout the UK. As an experienced editor, you will assist the Art & Science Editor in commissioning, editing and proof reading clinical articles for the Art & Science section.

 This part time position is for 21 hours per week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 RCN Publishing is a wholly owned subsidary of the Royal College of Nursing.  RCN Publishing’s offices are located in Harrow.

The Person
You should be qualified in publishing, editing or journalism, and be able to demonstrate experience in editing a scientific journal. With a sound knowledge of current health issues, it is essential that you are experienced in technical editing, have a genuine interest in research and continuing professional development. A nursing qualification is desirable but not essential.
