Senior Press Officer

Based in a busy press office, you will be a driving force behind the promotion and protection of the MRC???s reputation. You will lead on a portfolio of exciting research topics and issues that help to tell the story of the MRC ??? who we are, what we do and why it matters.
You???ll be highly motivated with a track record of PR success. A superb communicator with seasoned interpersonal skills, you???ll be used to working under pressure and juggling a range of projects. Ideally you will have a background in science, journalism or policy and will have worked in a science or health press office. You???ll know the difference between good and bad science/health reporting and how good PR can make a difference. Articulate and persuasive both face to face and in writing, you have real credibility and a passion for what you do.
