The College wishes to recruit a Communications Officer who will be responsible for implementing the Centre’s public engagement activities, communications and impact strategies. The post holder will be engaged in disseminating Centre research to academic and non academic audiences.  

This post is available part-time (60%) in the Wellcome Trust funded Centre for Medical History (CMH) , College of Humanities. from 1st August 2011 until 30 September 2013. 

The successful applicant will have a strong track record in media or communications; be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field; possess knowledge of medical humanities research; have experience of communications and/or policy relevant activities; skills in the production of communications materials; able to demonstrate a proactive approach to developing the role; demonstrate organisational skills, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
