Interim Publications Editor August – December 2011

??28k pro rata, full time, 35 hours a week.

Based at our HQ in Horsham, West Sussex

Action Medical Research is an ambitious charity aiming to grow and deliver medical research to help sick babies and children. With a 60 year history and roots in the development of the first UK polio vaccine, the charity focuses its work in the neglected area of child health.

We are looking for a Publications Editor, with experience of editing and producing supporter publications, preferably in the health and/or charity sector. You will need exceptional writing, editing and proof reading skills, with proven ability to write about complex issues clearly, and a good knowledge of graphic design and print production, as well as online publishing and writing for the web.
