The Royal Academy of Engineering spearheads the development of engineering in the UK and champions the highest achievers in the field, across the private, academic and public sectors. Its portfolio of activities is broad and includes events, education and engineering policy, advice to government, international activities, engineering research, public engagement and working towards a modern and diverse engineering workforce.

We are seeking a reliable, experienced copy editor to work within our Publications and Web team. You will have substantial experience in publishing, be highly organised and with strong writing, proofreading and editing skills.

The successful candidate will be editor of the quarterly Fellows??? Newsletter and the Academy???s media website www.raeng.tv, will assist in the production of our quarterly magazine Ingenia and copy edit other Academy publications.

The closing date is Thursday 21 July by 5pm.

Interviews will be held on 1 and 2 August 2011.
