Salary: ??29,972 – ??35,788 per annum (grade 6)

This is a unique opportunity to play a lead role in the development, implementation, support and evaluation of young people’s involvement in research to improve the health and well being of young people. Working within DECIPHer, a UKCRC Centre of Excellence for Public Health Research and engaging with a wide portfolio of projects supported by PHIRN, the Public Health Improvement Research Network, the post will involve;

(i) the strategic and operational facilitation of young people’s involvement in research on the development and evaluation of interventions to improve health and health related behaviour;

(ii) research and evaluation of the best ways of involving young people in a wide variety of research, in different contexts and using different research designs.

The post will be ideally suited to candidates with experience and knowledge, ideally in a health context, of both young people’s involvement in services or research, as well as in research or service evaluation.
