[Paid intern 1 of 3] Arthritis Care, Information intern, ???, clos 22 Aug 2011

This isn’t heavily scicomm but it’s a 10-12month information gathering and report writing paid internship aimed at people who have or are getting a first degree.

Arthritis Care

Paid information intern

To assist the information services and our award winning helpline team in the preparation, maintenance, development and delivery of materials and resources for the organisation in support of the development of patient-centred information and support. This role (or potentially two part-time roles) offer experience in supporting research carried out by Arthritis Care, preparing materials for use, and providing administrative support to the communications and helpline teams.

Essential ???must haves??? attached to each internship include working towards or holding a degree level qualification and being a great team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills with good attention to detail.  The ability to contribute to multiple projects and some experience of office work and administrative processes together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office and some database experience will set you in good stead.
