You’ll need a degree in physics or related discipline and the job is admin / project management underpinning scicomm, but you do get to do quite a bit of writing and scicomm hence I’ve tagged it as such.

Circa ??25,000 (pro rata) ??? dependant on experience The Institute of Physics is a leading international professional body and learned society, established to promote the advancement and dissemination of physics. The Stimulating Physics Network (SPN) project is a Department for Education funded project. This currently runs until 2012, however we are hopeful that an extension will soon be confirmed. The post holder will work from our Central London offices The successful candidate will need to work with minimal supervision, have excellent administration and communication skills, meet deadlines, and experience of conference or event organization and project management.
