Role description: 
We are looking for an experienced copy editor to join our vibrant Interpretation and Design team. You will help bring the power of nature to all public-facing text maintaining the Museum???s voice in all our marketing and communications material plus learning guides, retail products, exhibitions such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year and our membership magazines. You will have the ability to make sure text communicates its message as effectively as possible, accurately and to high standards. 

It is essential you are a skilled copy editor able to proofread and rewrite text. You need an excellent command of written and spoken English and an appreciation of the communicative potential of graphic design for different audiences. You will also need a good understanding of communicating the diversity and drama of life on Earth. 

You need a relevant degree or equivalent, previous working experience as a copy editor and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on diverse projects. Computer literacy, ideally both PC and MAC, is also essential. 

Knowledge, skills and experience: 
??? Degree (or equivalent qualification) 
??? Previous Copy Editor experience 
??? Excellent command of written and spoken English 
??? An appreciation of the communicative potential of graphic design 
??? An interest in the natural world
