Duties and Responsibilities
The UCL Public Engagement is a small team that supports and co-ordinates engagement between UCL researchers and people outside academia. The post-holder will be responsible for encouraging the development of a culture of public engagement within The School of Life and Medical Sciences.
The post-holder will also have a secondary responsibility to develop online engagement projects OR public events involving researchers from across UCL.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to academic-public engagement, and the ability to support the work of others. They will have a knowledge of the engagement challenges within a University, and be capable of building and sustaining relationships within UCL and externally. They will be dynamic, organised and capable of managing a large number of challenging projects simultaneously. They will be experienced in the field of academic-public engagement and capable of helping the UCL Public Engagement Unit to work effectively with students and staff at all levels. Candidates must be educated to degree level (or equivalent experience) in appropriate subject.
