An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer with the ability to present health information in a clear, engaging and accessible way to develop Heart Health resources for the UK’s leading heart charity. This post offers varied and challenging work on materials that communicate vital and life saving heart health messages in a range of engaging multimedia formats.

As Heart Health Project Officer you will develop and update online material and print publications for the general public and heart patients. You will project manage your own portfolio of resources from planning, production and marketing through to evaluation. You will work with writers, designers, production companies, medical advisers, members of the public and colleagues across the BHF to ensure that resources meet the needs of diverse audiences and are of high quality. You will use focus groups and basic research techniques to gather feedback on resources and monitor usage using BHF???s established systems.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent. Ideally, you will have experience of project managing the development of multimedia resources, working with external contractors and writing for the general public. Excellent project management and team working skills are essential as is the ability to present health information in a clear and accessible way. You will have knowledge of the online environment, enthusiasm for health promotion work and an interest in using different media to help people live heart healthy lives.

 

First interviews are scheduled for 1 & 2 September. Second interviews are scheduled for 13 September.
