We are currently recruiting for a Research Liaison Coordinator who will act as the main point of contact in the Research and Development Directorate for local groups.

We are the Parkinson’s support and research charity. We fund groundbreaking research to improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s and to understand more about the condition.

About the role

You will manage new research programmes that impact on local groups (e.g. the Research Funding Programme) and be responsible for handling day-to-day enquiries, monitoring the successes and failures of the programmes, making recommendations for improvements, keeping accurate records, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

You will have proven project management experience in a research or similar setting, with a strong track record of providing effective administration support, and of using your own initiative to develop and improve administration systems.

Skills, knowledge and experience

With proven experience of performance reporting to Senior Management level, you will take a methodical approach to your work, and have strong attention to det
ail and the ability to maintain accurate and consistent database records for performance reporting.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, both over the phone and in person, and be able to build and maintain key relationships through communicating clearly, effectively and diplomatically to a wide range of stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and time-management skills, who is self-motivated, able to think on their feet and able to work on their own initiative without close supervision, and as part of a team.
