Action Medical Research

Interim Communications Manager (maternity cover, 6-9 months starting January 2012)
??30-35k, full time, 35 hours a week.

Based at our HQ in Horsham, West Sussex

Action Medical Research is an ambitious charity aiming to grow and deliver more medical research to help babies and children. We are celebrating our 60th anniversary in 2012 and need an effective communications specialist with proven experience in developing and delivering national media stories and a background in a medical or scientific environment.

Acting as the charity???s focal point for media activity on medical research, you will write compelling news and feature stories about our research and be experienced at selling in ideas to the media, as well as being able to support fundraising PR.

You will be part of a small dynamic team responsible for web, supporter publications and marketing materials, as well as media relations.
