Health Communications Executive

Arthritis Research UK currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health Communications Executive to support the delivery of healthcare professional and consumer health communications campaigns and media relations activity as part of the developing media operation within the charity.

Salary: ??29 ??? ??34k depending on experience
Hours: 35 per week
Position type: Permanent
Closing date: Monday, 6 February 2012
Interview date: Monday, 13 February 2012

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good standard of education (minimum GCSE at Grade C or above or equivalent in key subjects including English and Maths) or equivalent experience.
  • Be educated to a degree level or equivalent vocational qualification in any discipline or equivalent experience
  • Have over two years experience in a media or public relations role in either PR agency or in-house
  • Have demonstrable success in delivering media coverage.
  • Have experience of managing evaluation of communications campaigns on consumer and health issues, targeting consumer audiences
