The British Lung Foundation is the only UK charity working for people with lung problems through research, education, support and care. Over the last 25 years we have developed programmes to support improvements in all areas of respiratory medicine, from funding world-class, independent research to pioneering end-of-life care programmes for people with lung disease.

We have a vacancy in our BLF Wales office, in Swansea, for a Communications Officer to raise the profile of the British Lung Foundation (BLF) and lung disease and deliver high impact campaigns that improve the lives of people with lung conditions.

Working closely with the Head and team of BLF Wales you will be responsible for delivering a communications strategy which identifies issues that affect people with lung disease and raises awareness amongst its many stakeholder audiences.

The ideal candidate will have broad communications experience, including press, web and social media. You will be assertive, creative and a good self- motivator.

You will possess strong writing, communication and organizational skills and an ability to plan and develop successful PR campaigns.
