There are two jobs here. Neither appear overly scicommish but the full time one seems like it might be slightly moreso than the Fixed Term Contract six month one which is more about celebrities. Alzheimer's Society is looking for an enthusiastic and driven press officer to join its award winning media team. The successful candidate will work in a busy press office, devising and executing national media campaigns and managing day-to-day media relations for the leading dementia charity in the UK.

You will work on a variety of press projects including fundraising, campaigns and services. You must have experience of working with the media, excellent communication skills, the ability to plan and the desire to work in a fast-paced team committed to making a difference.

Alzheimer's Society is looking for an enthusiastic and driven press officer to join their award winning media team. The successful candidate will be working as part of the Memory Walk Team promoting flagship walks and marathons. This will involve working with local services and sourcing case studies; working with celebrities and developing relationships with key regional newspapers and radio stations.

The applicant must have experience of working with the media, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to plan and the desire to work in a fast paced team committed to making a difference.
