This is an exciting role that works across the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to support and facilitate improvements in the co-ordination of stakeholder interaction.?? At Kew there are many legitimate contact points with stakeholders including individuals or groups with an interest in Kew???s affairs, and this role will proactively seek, collate and internally share information about key stakeholder interactions.??
Reporting in to the Head of Public Relations, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the communications strategy intended to establish Kew as a recognised global centre of excellence in plant and fungal diversity, conservation and sustainable use.
With a proven ability to initiate effective cross-departmental working, you will work closely with appropriate departments across Kew to effectively map and monitor key stakeholder relationships including political and business contacts, and agree planned activity to support joined-up management of those relationships. With excellent written and oral communication skills, you will also monitor information sources to identify, prioritise and manage policy responses and produce internal statements on key political issues which impact on the mission of RBG Kew.
You will have a degree, or equivalent, in a related subject, along with professional experience in the field of policy, corporate and media research and reporting.
