An exciting??opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer to help manage and promote our Health at Work and Help a Heart Grant Programmes as part of the Prevention & Care department at the British Heart Foundation.
As Project Officer you will work with colleagues across several teams who develop and market a wide range of health at work resources (print, online and audio/visual) and services for workplaces across the UK. You will also be working with internal and external colleagues in the management of a small grants programme funding innovative heart health projects across the UK. You will make sure the systems we use to manage, evaluate and promote our resources and programmes are effectively maintained and used to their full potential.
You will be comfortable organising and analysing data and you will have a methodical approach, with excellent attention to detail. You will also be familiar with the online environment, with content management experience.You will have excellent customer focus, enthusiasm for health promotion work and an interest in ways to promote the resources that can help people live heart healthy lives.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will have experience of working within existing processes and systems and working with colleagues to identify practical improvements to these systems. Excellent co-ordination and team working skills are essential as is the ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadline.
