An opportunity has arisen for a Patient Experience and Public Engagement (PEPE) Facilitator within the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). This post is offered as a one year fixed term appointment.
The PEPE Facilitator will support the College Council, Officers, Staff and the Consumers??? Forum in achieving Goal 2 of the RCOG???s Strategic Plan to ???Promote Global Advocacy for women???s health and childbirth, and for fellows, members and trainees??? by developing, implementing and evaluating an operational plan to support this goal. The PEPE Facilitator will implement a strategic approach to Patient and Public Engagement (PPE), develop strong links with relevant organisations and ensure that PEPE is integral to all activities of the RCOG.
The successful applicant will preferably have experience working in the ???not for profit??? sector and some experience of the medical sector. The successful applicant will also have experience of working across organisational boundaries with both clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels, developing and maintaining strong relationships and effectively communicating with all stakeholders. The post holder will need to have demonstrable experience of developing and delivering plans to meet strategic objectives and producing reports.
