37 hours per week, based in Northampton

Following a recent review the MND Association is recruiting to a number of key roles in our Communications team.This is an exciting time for the Association with significant changes in the Health and Social care sectors meaning that our ability to influence and effectively communicate is more important than ever.We are looking to recruit to the following roles:

Head of Communication c. 45K

You will lead our committed internal and external communications team.An experienced communication professional you will have a strategic vision for the function and the drive and enthusiasm to deliver that vision. You will have a broad remit including internal and external communication, public relations, the Associations media profile and brand.Reporting to the Director of External Affairs you will lead the team and so you must have the relevant experience and skills needed to deliver in such a high profile role.

With all of the roles experience of working in the voluntary sector would be an advantage.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a fatal disease of the brain and central nervous system. It leaves people locked into a failing body, unable to walk, talk, and feed themselves. Across the UK, five people a day die of MND.

The MND Association exists to ensure that people with MND can achieve the highest quality of life possible, and to fund and promote world-class research to bring an end to MND.We have over 3000 active volunteers, 140 staff and an annual income of 13m.
