We are looking for an experienced project manager to engage with Healthcare Professionals and to promote the work of Diabetes UK and the issues affecting people with diabetes with healthcare professionals and ensure that Diabetes UK engages with healthcare professionals. This is a busy and varied role, with opportunity for the successful candidate to expand their experience in engagement with healthcare professionals. A significant part of this role will be supporting engagement with healthcare professionals at the regional and national level, proactively and reactively seeking out opportunities to highlight engagement with healthcare professionals. As part of this engagement programme, you will be responsible for managing Diabetes UK???s presence at professional conferences and the development of our membership offer to professional members. You will be required to monitor and report on healthcare professional activity to internal and external audiences. The successful candidate will have experience in a project management role within an NHS setting, as well as experience of engagement with healthcare professionals. Experience of working with professional bodies would be an advantage. You will be organised with an attention to detail and the ability to work under your own initiative, ensuring accuracy and delivery to tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are required, together with the ability to work proactively with, and influence, both internal and external audiences.
