About the job

Salary: £27,419 pro rata (including London weighting)
Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover until March 2014)
Hours: 21 hours per week until July 2013, 14 hours per week thereafter
Location: Head Office, London

The Autism Knowledge Hub Manager is an exciting role in the Information, Advice and Advocacy department. The department produces online and “for print” information across a broad range of autism-related issues. This content is very highly regarded and frequently accessed by our target audiences.

The Autism Knowledge Hub team manage plan and oversee the review and production of this information. Our job is to ensure that our content is of the highest quality, giving people with autism, their parents and carers and, the professionals who work with them, the most current and relevant information about autism.

In our drive to constantly improve our content, we are applying for the Department of Health Information Standard. Linked with this, a key part of this role involves quality reviewing our web content and implementing document management processes using technology such as SharePoint and Sitecore.
