Full Time or part-time (min 30 hours p.w.)

The PHG Foundation is looking for a talented and experienced policy professional who is passionate about seeing biomedical research translated effectively into healthcare. You will work with our in-house and external experts to maximise the impact of the Foundation’s programmes on health policy in the UK and internationally.

You must have an excellent grasp of current health policy issues, preferably in the context of the latest scientific research; and substantial practical experience of the policymaking processes in the UK and Europe.

This is an important senior role providing the specialist public policy lead across the Foundation’s work programme and it is essential that you have the ability to work with experts from a range of disciplines to develop and communicate policy positions at the highest levels.

We are open-minded about your background but you must have a good first degree in a relevant subject, substantial evidence of continuing professional development, and demonstrable talent for policy work and building successful networks and collaborations with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also need to be an excellent communicator with the personal qualities to work creatively and effectively in a small team of highly-motivated colleagues who are committed to developing the PHG Foundation as an international health policy institute.
