 Job Title:  Health Promotion Service Co–ordinator
 Pay scale:  NJC 31 £26, 539 pro–rata
 Hours of duty:  3 Days (circa 21 hours p/w) – subject to review
 Location:  NI Chest Heart and Stroke, Dublin Road Office
 Responsible to:  Director of Public Health
 Accountable to:  Director of Public Health

JOB SUMMARY

The post holder will initially report to the Public Health Director and be responsible for the development and delivery of high quality health promotion activities and services and for the development of the service in accordance with NICHS Strategic Plan and prevention priorities.  This will involve providing services which enable the people of Northern Ireland to make positive lifestyle choices around the prevention of chest, heart and stroke conditions and improvements in health and well being. This will include Health Promotion provision manly for adults targeting work places, the wider community, NICHS sites as well as overseen our programme of health checks across a range of sectors.
