OVERALL PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the delivery and evaluation of our Research Strategy and supporting the policy work within NICHS.  The role will include:

· Assisting the development of the Research Strategy and overseeing its implementation and evaluation;

· Co–ordinating the contracting and management of external research projects;

· Supporting and sometimes leading on internal research design, evaluation, data analysis and reporting

· Policy analysis and research to assess potential impact for NICHS

· Providing professional advice and support to NICHS
