We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, no one will die from breast cancer. But we’ll only reach that point by working in a new, collaborative way. We’re bringing together all those affected by the disease to improve the way we prevent, detect, treat and stop the disease. So we can move from a time when people fear breast cancer to a generation where everybody lives.

The role
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Public Health Officer to deliver our public health work, which aims to raise awareness of breast cancer, its signs and symptoms and the importance of breast screening and to encourage a healthy lifestyle for breast cancer prevention. Working with key partners you will deliver health and wellbeing training programmes and health promotion talks, and deliver key public health campaigns aimed at stopping women dying from breast cancer.

About you
You will be highly driven and ambitious, with the ability to manage complex projects and communicate health messages clearly.  You will be skilled in using digital technologies to drive and support behaviour change, and have substantial experience of working in partnership with other organisations. You will be a confident public speaker and able to work effectively in a small, busy team and with colleagues across the organisation.
