Useful resource & mailing list: the @pcstnetwork

Can’t believe I’ve never heard of this! I spotted that Mark Rosin had asked ‘me’ (as @ScicommJobs, in 2014, oops! I almost never log in as that so please contact me on @JoBrodie) about a US version of psci-com (psci-com is international but there’s a fairly large UK, and even London, bias) and Brian Lewenstein replied with information about another international network – hooray, more science communicators. Let’s make friends with them!

They have a mailing list too http://www.pcst.co/discussion

The next PCST event is the biennial conference in Istanbul in Turkey,
from 24-27 April 2016, the 14th Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST) Conference: The Global Conference on Science Communication – actually I think this deserves a separate post.

By the way psci-com (Jiscmail-hosted mailing list) and scicommjobs (this blog) are entirely separate things but both run by me. I’ve been running this blog since October 2009 and took over running the psci-com mailing list in 2012.
